DESCRIPTION:Since 2020\, Broomfield has developed relationships and partnered with sovereign Indigenous Nations and with Native people in our community. This work led to the second-ever Sister City agreement between a sovereign Indigenous Nation (the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes) and a municipality. In addition\, the recently named Water Runs Back Open Space was christened by Cheyenne and Arapaho leaders. \n \nDiscover the story of this partnership through the short film ‘We Share a History’ (2025) and then hear from Fred Mosqueda\, Language and Culture Coordinator for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes\, about the Cheyenne and Arapaho and their connection to Colorado.\n\n \nTime listed may change.\nLocation to be determined.\nDetails coming (time may change).                       \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
